Martha, aka Marty Muñoz, has been

helping women for decades - since 1989! and she has no signs of slowing down. Marty continues to make opportunities for women from all walks of life to reach their potential goals, and dreams to become a reality.

Marty began her quest to help many women who experienced domestic violence and family dysfunctions at an early age. As an Author and International Speaker Ms. Lazo-Munoz keeps going! 


With over 40 years of experience in Job Development, Business Development and Recruiting, helping countless of women, including pregnant teens Marty identifies.


Ms. Lazo-Munoz has worked with hospitals, clinics within the Human Resources Management departments, including Recruitment and consulting.


A 25 year tenure in recruiting for Providers, Nurses and other Healthcare Professionals, where often staff would share their stories of abuse.


The Women's Legacy of Hope emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support communities and also families dear to her heart. 


The women she loved and loves have and had experienced domestic violence. Marty said she saw and witnessed abuse, from physical to the mental abuse and emotional, thus her desire to help grew and her determination to empower many women. This is how her business was birthed, and continuing to grow with her new magazine, and the travel opportunities for women speakers, authors and small business owners. Lazo-Munoz states she continues to travel globally and help as many women as she can with her faith based wisdom and knowledge! Marty states it was her faith who saved her and placed her on the track/road she is on today!

  • Women's Legacy of Hope Empowerment knows too well that our strength is not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2011, one of our Local Business recognized us as one leader working towards helping our community and that together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently. We earned the Woman of the Year Award via the NAWBO Organization, Affiliate award 2012.

  • Ultimately we decided to launch Women's Legacy of Hope Empowerment. The data shows that Domestic Violence holds no boundaries. We help women from all walks of life. We have Healthcare professionals, doctor's and nurses among other professionals who have utilized our services and have joined our platforms to talk about their experiences in life. We believe through education, empowerment, resources and tools we can make a difference in many lives. We bring Online events through Eventbrite brining in a variation of professionals, additionally we also offer online courses to help you through your challenges. We can also be viewed on a TV Networks that hosts cable channels such as Roku, AppleTV, Amazon TV, YouTube to bring more awareness globally! We too have experienced adversities in life and now want to be here for you! in 2022 the Women's Legacy of Hope will now be affiliated with HSBN Faith based TV Network, set to launch January 2022!! Reaching more women globally!
